About Hammel Photo:

Armed with a BA in photography from Columbia College, Chicago - where large format architecture photography is still classically trained and home to the renowned Museum of Contemporary Photography - Phil has tackled the world of art, design and photo direction in the fast-paced magazine publishing industry. His photography has been featured in numerous magazines including Fine Interiors, Luxe, Modern Luxury, Envy and Boston Globe. Recently, his work was honored as a Texas Star Awards finalist for best custom home brochure photography.

Phil's specialty is in location photography for architects, custom home builders, interior designers and commercial developers. He and his wife, Mary, often collaborate in the studio styling food, products and editorial pieces.
